I de-risk it: technical and organizational due diligence from the buyer or seller side, and post-merger integration that actually brings teams and systems together instead of letting them drift apart.
I give you an honest read of the people and the structure, help you make the hard calls, restructure where the org design is the real problem, find the right people inside and out, and realign everyone on common goals.
